Life insurance cover

Pays a tax free lump sum payable upon death or, if you are diagnosed with less than 12 months to live, the policy will pay whilst you are alive.

Income protection cover

Pays you a replacement income monthly if you are unable to work due to illness or injury after your selected wait period of 30, 60 or 90 days. The policy will pay for a period of two or five years, to age 65/70 years old, or until you are able return to work.

Trauma cover

A lump sum is paid upon diagnosis of one of around 60 medical conditions listed in the policy. eg cancer, heart attack or stroke.

​This policy will provide capital to help compensate for a prolonged period of recovery and recuperation from a major medical event.

Trauma insurance is used to cover situations such as supporting a partner’s income and providing a cash buffer for medical expenses that are not covered by health insurance e.g. non-Pharmac drugs and alternative therapies.

Mortgage repayment cover

Pays your monthly mortgage repayment if you are unable to work due to illness or injury.

After your selected wait period of 30, 60, or 90 days, the policy will pay for a period of two or five years, to age 65, or until you are able return to work.

Total and permanent disability cover

A lump sum payable if you are permanently disabled and unable to work ever again. This is a worst-case scenario policy. 

Conditions that trigger this cover could be becoming paralysed (such as in a car accident), long term degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, dementia or stress/mental health conditions.

Becoming totally and permanently disabled can be more of a financial burden than dying, simply because you are alive and still face costs.
