Now, he manages a portfolio of clients and leads the ICIB Gold Medal Vintage winery scheme.

Kyla joined the insurance industry in 2018 and started with ICIB in 2024. Working with Domestic clients, she is naturally friendly, helpful and enjoys forging client relationships. She is primarily responsible for the key relationship, providing general advice, technical insurance solutions and sharing market knowledge along with escalating any problems. Her previous roles as broker support and domestic broker have given her a fantastic understanding of the industry and her current focus is on building her skill set to become a knowledge expert in her broker role. In her spare time Kyla enjoys running, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Upon leaving school Lauren went into a training programme for short term insurance, after a year she started working for the mining sector. End of 2016 still in the mining sector, she started working for Glenrand MIB Insurance Brokers who are now AON Insurance. She and her family immigrated from South Africa to New Zealand in October 2019 where she obtained NZ working experience at Viridian Glass, She then started working for AON NZ in June 2021 as a Rural & Commercial admin support thereafter started her ICIB Brokerweb journey in February 2024.

Allanah has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years. The majority of this time was for an insurance broker who dealt predominately in Agri insurance. Jeremy has over 20 year loss adjusting experience, commencing as a trainee with an international firm in Malaysia, and rising to the ranks of senior management. He has dealt with a multitude of general claims in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore and has a penchant for Business Interruption Claims. In 2020 he joined the Forensic Advisory Services division in Auckland. In 2022 Jeremy joined ICIB as a Senior Claims broker. His focus is clear communication and successful resolution of claims by adopting a commercially sensible and pragmatic approach.

Jerry started his loss adjustment career in 1979, working in Malaysia, Taiwan, and Brunei, and moving up to senior management positions before migrating to New Zealand in 2002. In Auckland, he worked for an international loss adjusting firm before joining EQC, then managed complex earthquake and commercial claims for a large insurer. Jerry joined ICIB in 2016 as our Claims Manager, bringing with him vast knowledge in loss adjusting, insurance and management.

Kay began her insurance career at NZI in Waipukurau over 30 years ago. After transferring to their Napier office, she worked on the underwriting side for a few months before moving into claims.
After becoming a claims supervisor, Kay was Invited by Watt Insurance Brokers (now ICIB Brokerweb) to join their team for six months to sort out their claims. 14 plus years later Kay is still here and loving it.
Relieving Claims Specialist
Keegan started his insurance career in 2017 working as a claims consultant for IAG. From there he moved to Suncorp New Zealand where he predominantly managed motor claims specializing in heavy Motor for the Vero brand, as well as other roles within Asteron Life. In late 2021 Keegan joined ICIB Brokerweb as a claims specialist. He currently manages and advocates on a wide range of claims.

Kristen started with the company in 2016. Prior to that she spent 10 years at NZI dealing with all classes of business claims and later specializing in heavy motor and bus & coach claims. She loves the variety her role provides and is very passionate about reaching a fair settlement for our clients. Outside of work, Kristen is a mum to two boys who keep her on her toes.

Leanne started her insurance career with a loss adjusting company as a claims’ technician and, after six years, moved into loss adjusting.
Her time in these roles gave Leanne exposure to a vast variety of commercial and domestic claims including the Christchurch and Kaikoura earthquakes. In 2018 Leanne joined ICIB Brokerweb. Her previous varied and extensive experience with claims and assessing has assisted her to adapt to supporting broker claims. Leanne enjoys providing support, understanding, and empathy to clients in time of need.
