Daniel started within the insurance industry whilst studying for his Business Management degree at university in Leeds. He then spent 6 years with a large national broker in the UK before managing a panel of insurers and Lloyd's syndicates for the UK's largest network of insurance brokers.
Daniel moved to New Zealand in 2010, starting with ICIB immediately. He now manages his own portfolio of clients and handles ICIB's winery clients under the Gold Medal Vintage winery scheme.
Daniel is a shareholder in ICIB Ltd.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Bev has over 25 years insurance experience in New Zealand.
Bev is a Senior Associate and Certified Insurance Professional of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and a Fellow of Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand. She is a shareholder in ICIB.
Bev is an avid rugby union fan and a huge supporter of the All Blacks!
Tracey is the company accountant and office manager.
Originally from Zimbabwe, she has worked for ICIB since her arrival in New Zealand in 2007. Prior to this she has worked as an accountant in Perth & Adelaide across various industries.
Grant started his insurance career in 1988 as an underwriter, before moving into insurance broking in 1991. Grant's home town is Hawkes Bay, moving to Auckland in 2003. He joined ICIB in June 2016 as our CEO, bringing 16 years experience of management and leadership from a large global firm.
Grant is qualified as a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, holds a Diploma in Financial Services (General Insurance), is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB) and is a Fellow of the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand.
Garry has 40 years insurance experience, including 25 as an insurance broker involving a broad range of clientele over many industries.
He is qualified as a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and is also an Associate in Risk Management from the American Insurance Institute.
Garry is a shareholder in ICIB.
Simon has worked in the insurance industry for 30 years including 25 years as an insurance broker.
He is a qualified Lloyds Broker and worked for 8 years in the London market.
He is an Associate of the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand and is QIB rated.
Simon is a shareholder in ICIB.
David commenced his career in 1981 in Kuala Lumpur.
In 1987 he joined a loss adjusting firm before immigrating to New Zealand in 1989.
David has worked in the New Zealand insurance industry since 1990 and commenced his broking career with ICIB in 1993 after spending 3 years with NZI.
He is an Associate and Certified Insurance Professional of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
David is a shareholder in ICIB.
Brindley commenced his insurance career straight from university in 1999. He gained his initial insurance experience with five years in the insurance company market before becoming an Insurance Broker. Brindley is involved in all insurance sectors and has a specific interest in engineering & constructions risks, contract works and liability insurance risks.
He gained a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree from Massey University and is qualified as a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and is a Qualified Insurance Broker (QIB) and a Certified Insurance Professional. Brindley is a shareholder in ICIB.
Andre joined ICIB as a Senior Broker in 2018 when he returned to NZ after 12 years in Australia with FM Global. Prior to this he worked in various claims roles in New Zealand. Andre brings a wealth of technical knowledge and practical claims application to our clients.
Vinod has over 35 years Insurance Industry experience commencing with NZ Insurance Companies in processing, claims, underwriting & sales roles before embarking on his OE ( Overseas Experience ) where he worked in London for 3 years. He returned to New Zealand, where he has been a Broker since 1992 & purchased & has handled his own personal Portfolio of clients since 2002 under his own company.
He is qualified as a Senior Associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance, a Certified Insurance Professional & is a Qualified Insurance Broker (QIB). He is fluent in English & Gujarati.
He has joined ICIB in their newly established West Auckland office as a contract broker.
Richard has worked in the insurance industry for 38 years and during this time has owned and operated his own insurance broking company for 28 years.
He has been employed by many NZ insurers, as well as Bowring/Marsh in London for 2 years, and as local branch manager (New Lynn) for Commercial Union ( F&G.)
Richard is a Fellow of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ, and a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB).
He has joined ICIB in their newly established West Auckland office as a contract broker
As a result of the amalgamation with Lloyd East, Sandy joined ICIB Limited in April 2017. An experienced broker, Sandy continues to service both commercial and domestic customers of Lloyd East.
Sandy holds PIB status with IBANZ.
Tony commenced his career soon after the Christchurch earthquake in September 2011 and has worked across a variety of roles in claims, recovery and fraud investigation, before moving to domestic and commercial broking in 2014. He is an ANZIIF Associate, has gained PIB status with IBANZ and is currently working towards his Diploma of General Insurance. Tony is bilingual (English and Mandarin).
Zac joined the team in 2013 to form ICIB Life - a joint venture with one of New Zealand’s leading financial advisory firms. Zac specialises in wealth protection advice for small & medium sized businesses as well as their owners and families. This includes independent reviews of Key Person cover, Shareholder Protection, Debt Protection as well as Private Medical, Disability and Life covers.
Following his Commerce degree, Zac spent eight years in sales & marketing roles within the Corporate and SME sectors in New Zealand and Canada. Zac is a Registered Financial Adviser, current Treasurer for the Young Insurance Professionals (NZ) and was awarded the 2015 Young Adviser of the Year from the NZFAA.
Renee joined the team in 2017 as Executive Assistant to our Life Adviser Zac Emery.
Renee has worked for 5 years in the Life and Health Insurance industry and specializes in claims and administration.
She prides herself in efficient service and enjoys communicating with clients and working with Zac to ensure our clients health, wealth and families are looked after.
Having a family of her own Renee knows how important it is to have the security that her family will be taken care of should the unforeseen happen.
Tracy has worked in the insurance industry for 20 years including 10 years as a Life Insurance Consultant in South Africa.
She has over 10 years experience in domestic insurance and now manages selected commercial scheme portfolios.
Tracy is an Associate Certified Insurance Professional of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and a Registered Financial Advisor.
Anne has over 30 years of experience with both domestic and commercial insurance.
She began her career in the 1980’s and is passionate about client service and enjoys the challenge of arranging the right policy most suitable for her clients.
Outside of work hours she enjoys dressmaking and is a keen supporter of the All Blacks, Rugby League and Cricket teams.
Catherine started her career in the insurance industry in 2011 and has worked through a variety of roles in accounts, credit control and underwriting before moving to domestic broking in 2016. She is an ANZIIF Associate and is currently working towards her Diploma in General Insurance.
Heather has over 34 years experience in the insurance industry.
She began her career in reinsurance in South Africa. After emigrating to New Zealand in 2011, Heather has worked in domestic and commercial broker support, as well as managing a team.
Isobel started in the insurance industry after graduating from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts. With over 7 years in the insurance industry, she has experience in underwriting, claims and both commercial and personal lines broking.
Isobel is an ANZIIF Associate, a Qualified Insurance Broker (QIB) with IBANZ and has recently completed the NZQA National Certificate in Financial Services Level 5.
After completing her commerce degree, Kisma spent over 7 years in marketing, sales, customer services and data quality roles in Yokohama, Singapore, Jakarta and Auckland in the shipping industry; followed with 9 years in finance and customer services roles in publishing and distribution sectors before joining ICIB in November 2016. Kisma enjoys spending time with friends and family walking along the waterfront, cruising the cafes or simply curling up with a good book.
Laura has been in the insurance industry since 2002 and held various underwriting, claims and broking roles in New Zealand, United Kingdom and Australia. Laura is an ANZIIF Senior Associate, a Certified Insurance Professional and a Registered Financial Advisor.
Michael joined ICIB in December 2018, having commenced working in the insurance industry in 2009 working for a national insurer. He has experience in both domestic and commercial insurance having worked in various underwriting and sales roles before moving into broking in 2016.
Teri began her insurance career after graduating from university with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts.
She has gained experience in both claims and insurance sales before transitioning into domestic and commercial broking.
Teri has gained PIB status with IBANZ.
Jerry started loss adjusting in 1979, working in Malaysia, Taiwan and Brunei holding senior management positions before migrating to New Zealand in 2002. In Auckland, he worked for an international loss adjusting firm for 8 years before joining EQC and subsequently a large commercial insurer, managing complex earthquake and commercial claims. Prior to joining ICIB, he was a Senior Adjuster with a Sydney loss adjusting firm. When Jerry is not managing claims, he likes fishing and gardening.
Originally from the UK, Kyle has been in the insurance industry since 2010 and has held various roles in claims management including working on the Canterbury Earthquakes for insurers and government office. Kyle has a strong customer focus with our client’s best interest at heart.
Charlie has worked in the insurance industry since 2016. During this time he has held a variety of roles, including claims management and information technology. He has a strong customer focus with experience in both commercial and domestic claims.
Outside of work, Charlie is a keen sailor.
